MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif., May 11, 2005 - Adimos Inc., a
leader in wireless multimedia processors for consumer electronics for the
digital home, announced that it has been named one of the Red Herring 100
Private Companies of North America. The award recognizes 100 private
companies in North America that drive technology’s future.
Red Herring’s editorial staff rigorously evaluated more than 900 private
companies through a careful analysis of financial data and subjective
criteria, including quality of management, execution of strategy, and
dedication to research and development.
“Adimos is gaining ground in this fast-moving market for wireless multimedia
distribution in the home,” said Eran Igler, co-founder and chief technology
officer for Adimos, Inc. “Our technology provides the quality and security
that consumers have come to expect from their traditional, wired television
products, with the freedom to distribute and view their video content
anywhere in the home.”
Kumar will also present Adimos’ business model and strategy at the Red
Herring Spring conference, taking place May 17-19 at the Monterey Plaza
Hotel in Monterey, Calif.
